Roses propagated and grown in the deep south for the deep south
Deep South Roses is a true mom and pop business, Cindy (the mom) having experienced having her children grow up and move out, is now full filling a dream by turning a long term hobby into a business. Practicing the same TLC that was required raising a family, she now has a new generation of baby's (as we call them). Gathering roses from all over the southeast, with the help of her husband, Patrick (the pop) cuttings are propagated in a specially created potting soil and placed in the custom built mister house. Here the baby's stay for a period of 8 weeks to 3 monrhs, allowing them time to be able to stand on their own feet! ummm I mean roots. Once the propagated roses are well rooted they are potted in one gallon containers and placed out doors until ready for adoption. At this time the roses range about 12" to 36" tall or greater and have become well established providing seasonal blooms . Below is a list of roses ready for sale, more will be added to the list as they mature, including Hybrid Teas, Teas, Miniatures, China's, Floribundas, Climbers, and unknown roses found in out of the way places !
We survived Hurricane Ivan. Some roses were lost but more survived! New growth has sprung up all over and many mature roses are available.
The web site is being up dated as we find time after the clean up, more photos will be available. Hurricane Ivan photos click here
